abertis airports is ranked as one of the world’s leading airport operators, with a strong presence in Europe and America. The company has interests in 29 airports in 8 countries, which handle more than 80 million passengers.
The company manages British airport operator tbi through a company owned by abertis (90%) and Aena Internacional (10%).
tbi’s network currently covers a total of eight international airports.
· United Kingdom: London Luton Airport, Cardiff and Belfast International
· Sweden: Stockholm Skavsta
· Bolivia: La Paz, Santa Cruz and Cochabamba
· United States: Orlando Sanford.
It also has total or partial management contracts, from governments or local authorities, in five further airports in the US:

· Bob Hope
· Middle Georgia Regional
· Macon Downtown
· Raleigh-Durham International
In 2007 abertis acquired desarrollo de concesiones aeroportuarias (dca), a holding company with stakes in 15 airports in Mexico, Jamaica, Chile and Colombia. These include the 12 airports in Mexico managed by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP).
In Colombia, abertis airports manages, through operator Codad, the two runways of Eldorado-Bogota Airport.
