saba invests 1.15 million euros in the introduction of the VIA-T payment system in its network of car parks
With VIA-T, clients go to the exit without having to use the ATM and on introducing their ticket into the validating machine, the control system recognises the vehicles and allows it to leave.
saba, the society that manages the car park businesses of the abertis group, is progressively introducing the VIA-T payment method throughout its network of car parks, with an investment, to date, of 1.15 million euros.
The introduction of the “VIA-T” payment system has already spread to 26 car parks, of which 17 are in the city of Barcelona, 4 in Terrassa, 3 in Mataró and 2 in Sabadell. The use of the new system in these installations currently represents more than 2.5% of all payments.
Thanks to this system, clients no longer need to use the ATM, but can go straight to the exit signposted with the “VIA-T” emblem. On introducing the ticket into the validating machine, the control system recognises the vehicle and lets it leave.
This latest decision by saba for quality in service and new technologies represents another step ahead in the company’s objective of offering its clients maximum convenience and comfort, as well as a faster, safer and more individualised service.
