Acesa’s stake in Aucat increases to 91.24%

ACESA PURCHASES 13.51% OF AUCAT FROM CAIXA PENEDÈS
Acesa has acquired, through its subsidiary Holdaucat, 13.51% of Aucat’s share capital from the savings bank Caixa d’Estalvis del Penedès, for €73.6 million.

This means that Acesa now owns 91.24% of the motorway concessionaire, which operates Catalonia’s Pau Casals motorway (the C-32).

The transaction continues the process commenced in September 2001, when Acesa resolved to make purchase offers to acquire stakes in operators of motorway concessions in Catalonia: Aucat, Túnel del Cadí and Autema.
