saba has taken over the management of the new car part at Reus airport, up to the end of 2009. The site, which will no longer be free of charge as from 1 August, has a total of 983 spaces and is made up of two modules. The first module, called P1, has 437 spaces for rental vehicles, coaches and areas reserved for Aena staff. For its part, module P2 has 546 spaces for public use, and customers will be charged as from 1 August. Both zones have controlled entrances and exits, as well as 24/7 security and customer service.
This car park has recently been remodelled, providing Reus airport with a new infrastructure and updating the airport's facilities, offering customers a higher quality service and raising the facility's level of security thanks to the inclusion of security systems and licence plate controls.
saba currently manages the car parks at Barcelona and Girona airport. At Barcelona this includes the management of a total of 24,719 spaces in the different car parks at El Prat airport, including rotation parking and those for season ticket holders for terminal 2, which saba has been managing since 2001, as well as the car parks at the airport's terminal 1. In total saba manages 13,226 spaces at this facility, with 10,913 rotation spaces (9,314 indoors and 1,599 outdoors) and 2,313 outdoor spaces for season ticket holders. The contract also covers 80 spaces in the corporate aviation terminal.At Girona airport, saba manages a facility with a capacity of 2,413 spaces for public use. It also has zones reserved for employee parking, with capacity for 73 spaces, as well as 233 spaces for crews and capacity for 280 vehicles from rental firms.
