abertis launches a programme offering discounts of up to 13% for heavy vehicles throughout its toll road network in Spain

  • Customers signing up for the new Truck Plan programme will benefit from discounts from the first euro spent on journeys made throughout the abertis autopistas network.
  • These discounts can be used in conjunction with the existing discounts for heavy vehicles on various sections of abertis' toll roads.

From 1 June, abertis autopistas will start up a new exclusive discount programme for haulage professionals throughout its toll road network. Known as Truck Plan, this programme will offer monthly discounts of up to 13% from the first euro spent on journeys made throughout the abertis autopistas network.

The discounts offered will be 5% of the amount spent (for customers spending less than €300 a month), 10% (for those spending €300 to €600 a month) or 13% (for those who spend more than €600 a month).

Any amounts spent on stays in the Truck Parks (service areas specifically for heavy vehicles) available in the Montseny and Porta Barcelona service areas, on the AP-7, will also be taken into account.

When the discount programme is implemented it will replace the current Bonotac and Tacconsum programmes for heavy vehicles, and will cover the whole of the abertis autopistas network in Spain, except for aulesa (AP-71 León-Astorga).

Category 1 and 2 heavy vehicles (with a maximum authorised mass of 3.5 tonnes or more) which have a VIA-T electronic toll device fitted will benefit from this programme. In order to sign up for this new discount scheme, it is necessary to register through www.autopistas.com.

The Truck Plan discounts can be used in conjunction with the existing regular-user reductions and discounts for heavy vehicles on some sections of the abertis Group's toll roads in Spain.
